PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — Senior Andie Daniell will begin play in the 2018 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif., on Tuesday against the No. 15 seed in the tournament, Shweta Sangwan (Oregon) at 2:15 CT.

So far in the fall, No. 70 Daniell is 2-1 in singles play and will take on her first ranked opponent of the season as Sangwan is the No. 42 singles player in the country.

For the 34th consecutive year, the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, California, hosts the nation’s top Division I women’s players to compete in the Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships. In addition to vying for the All-American national title, Daniell will be competing to secure a berth into the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, which are Nov. 7-11 in Surprise, Arizona.
