HOUSTON — After winning all three of his matches in the qualifying round, junior Zhe Zhou will play in the main draw of the USTA $25k Futures event in Houston, Texas.
No. 16 seed Zhou bested Michael Shabaz (No. 1001 in ATP Rankings), 6-4, 6-3, in the qualifier final on Monday to earn a spot in the main draw of the tournament.
Junior Alexey Nesterov fell to No. 1 seed, Andrew Watson, in a three-set battle, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1.
