BIRMINGHAM – On Saturday, four University of Alabama men’s tennis players advanced to Sunday’s third round of qualifying at the USTA $15k Futures event in Birmingham.
Jeremy Gschwendtner, No. 16 seed Alexey Nesterov, Edson Ortiz and Riccardo Roberto all won their matches.
Zhe Zhou, seeded No. 10, played his first-round match on Saturday—it was delayed due to rain on Friday–and won, but Zhou lost his second-round match later in the day.
