The University of Alabama women’s tennis team wrapped up a successful Roberta Alison Fall Classic after the Crimson Tide won two singles draws and one doubles draw on Saturday.

Luca Fabian dominated Alex Angyalosy (Clemson), 6-0, 6-0, in the finals of the Bianca Svensson Draw, while Ann Selim won her final against Air Force’s Meredith Jones 6-0, 7-6(2) in the Paulina Bigos Draw. In doubles, Kimberley Gintrand and Selim won their draw after defeating Memphis duo Bente/Hohnhold 6-1 and Troy’s Montero Estevan/Guo 7-5, in the final.

Alba Cortina Pou cruised to a 6-1, 6-1, victory over Allie Sanford of Ole Miss, and Jacqueline Pelletier defeated Tulane’s Adelaide Lavery 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-5).

In the second round of doubles, Cortina Pou/Fabian moved on via a walkover and then defeated Vrbenska/Sanford of Ole Miss 6-3. Ito/Pelletier lost to East Carolina’s Hofbauer/Diercksen 6-2, before bouncing back with a 7-5 win over Topalovic/Reayer of Memphis.
