LEXINGTON, Ky. — Alabama volleyball fell in its Sunday road contest against 11th-ranked Kentucky, dropping straight sets 16-25, 19-25 and 23-25.

After Alabama (18-10, 5-9 SEC) dropped the first two sets to Kentucky (19-4, 13-0 SEC), the Crimson Tide held the lead for the majority of the third, but a late push from the Wildcats ultimately gave the home team the two-point set victory to cap the sweep. Sophomore Doris Carter led the offense with 12 kills and a .344 hitting percentage, adding 15 digs for her eighth double-double of the season, six of which have come in SEC play. Senior Quincey Gary led the defense with 17 digs, putting her 92 away from moving to second all-time at UA.

Alabama next faces Mississippi State at 7 p.m. Nov. 16 and Ole Miss at 3 p.m. Nov. 18.
