NORMAN, Okla. – Junior Alexey Nesterov comes up short to Alessandro Ventre in the qualifying final of the USTA $25k Futures on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Oklahoma University Gregg Wadley Tennis Pavilion in Norman, Okla.
Nesterov put up a fight and pushed it to a third set, but ultimately fell to Ventre 4-6, 6-1, 6-4.
After competing in 11 tournaments, Alabama men’s tennis concludes the fall season. Alabama will commence the dual match season beginning on Jan. 19, 2019, to host Michigan at 1 p.m. and Chattanooga at 6 p.m. CT at the Alabama Tennis Facility.
