MADISON, Wis. – Alabama senior Alfred Chelanga finished 12th at the NCAA Men’s Cross Country Championships on Saturday at the Zimmer Championship Course in Madison, Wis. Chelanga crossed the finish line in a time of 29:27.4 over the 10,000-meter course on a snowy, 22-degree afternoon. His finish earned him All-America status.
The All-America honor is the second in a row for the Nairobi, Kenya, native. He finished 37th last season.
