ATHENS, Ga. — The Alabama diving corps totaled eight top-25 finishes at the Georgia Diving Invitational this weekend in Athens, Ga.

Senior Robby Costine took fourth off the 1-meter springboard, posting a score of 329.80 in finals, moving up one place from the preliminary round where he totaled 316.30 points. Costine went on to post a 13th-place finish in the platform event with 268.60 points and a 19th-place finish off the 3-meter board after scoring 279.05 points.

Freshman Kevin Li took 19th off the 1-meter in prelims with 271.40 points, while fellow rookie Hunter Jaynes was 20th off the platform with 230.50 points.

Senior Ayanna Woods took 16th place in the platform event on the women’s side of the meet after tallying 188.25 points over five dives. Freshman Hali Bower (232.20) and Woods (226.45) both posted top-25 finishes off the 1-meter board, taking 23rd and 25th, respectively.

The Tide swimmers and divers’ last dual meet of the season is this weekend, with the men taking on Florida State and the women facing off against both FSU and Miami in a double-dual meet. The diving portion of the meet will be 10 a.m. Friday, while the swimming events will start at 10 a.m. Saturday.
