The Alabama women’s tennis team swept a doubleheader Saturday, defeating Mercer 6-1 and shutting out Alabama A&M 7-0 at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility.
Alabama opened both matches by winning the doubles point with wins by Moka Ito and Jacqueline Pelletier, Alba Cortina Pou and Luca Fabian as well as Ann Selim and Kim Gintrand.
In singles against Mercer, Alabama’s wins came from Fabian, Gintran, Ito, Cortina Pou and Pelletier.
Against Alabama A&M, the Crimson Tide swept all six singles matches with wins by Gintrand, Selim, Ito, Cortina Pou, Fabian and Pelletier.
