AUBURN – University of Alabama swimmers continued their winning ways on day two of the Auburn Invitational, winning five races and notching a trio of one-two sweeps in the James E. Martin Aquatic Center Saturday.

Alabama took a one-two finish in the women’s 400 individual medley, with Greta Szilvasi (4:18.18) and Mallory Underwood (4:18.67) finishing five seconds ahead of the field. Jonathan Berneburg (47.56) and Colton Stogner (47.87) took first and second in the men’s 100 butterfly. Alabama also posted a one-two finish when Richard Miksi (53.78) and Josh Lenzmeier (53.83) got to the wall ahead of the field in the men’s 100 breaststroke. Ryan Ratliff won the men’s 200 freestyle (1:36.50). Caroline Beene (54.55) won the women’s 100 butterfly. Cole Brown posted a 3:56.26 to take second in the men’s 400 individual medley. Emma Murray finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.58). Sezin Eligul (54.53) placed second in the 100 backstroke.

The meet concludes on Sunday.
