The Alabama track and field men are No. 13 and the women are No. 14 in the latest NCAA Division I Track & Field National Rating Index the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced Monday.

Junior Shelby McEwen is the nation’s No. 1-ranked high jumper with a season-best leap of 7-7 (2.31m). Senior Kord Ferguson is ranked sixth in the shot put, while senior Gilbert Kigen is No. 10 in the 5,000 meters.

Sophomore Tamara Clark is ranked in the top 10 nationally in the 60 and 200 meters. Senior Portious Warren is also ranked in the top 10 in the nation, claiming the No. 8 spot in the shot put.
