RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – The fifth-ranked Alabama men’s golf team carded a final round score of 6-under par 282 and finished play at the 2019 Puerto Rico Classic tied for 11th place overall with a three-day total of 15-over par 879 (306-291-282).
Alabama was led by sophomore Wilson Furr, who carded his second consecutive round in the 60s when he finished with an 18-hole score of 3-under 69 on Tuesday.
Georgia Tech and Georgia were co-champions, each with a 16-under.
The Crimson Tide will return to action on March 3-5 at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate in Los Cabos, Mexico.
