The Alabama soccer head coach Wes Hart announced the Crimson Tide’s upcoming spring schedule, which includes five home games at the Alabama Soccer Complex. The season kicks off Saturday, March 2 when the Tide plays host to Georgia for a 3 p.m. contest.
After squaring off against Georgia, Alabama will play host to Clemson on Saturday, March 30 in a 1 p.m. match. The Tide will then face a pair of conference foes, starting with defending SEC champion Vanderbilt Sunday, April 7 at 1 p.m., followed by Tennessee Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m. The spring season wraps up Friday, April 19 when Columbus State comes to Tuscaloosa. The match will start at 7 p.m.
The Tide will return 18 letterwinners from last season’s team that finished with an 8-8-3 overall record. Alabama earned its first win over a top-five ranked opponent in program history, with a 1-0 shutout victory over then-No. 5 Texas A&M on Oct. 18, 2018. The Tide’s 2019 recruiting class was recently recognized by Top Drawer Soccer as the No. 12 recruiting class in the nation.
