The Alabama softball team is the only unbeaten Division I school in the nation and sits at 25-0 after a weekend sweep of Missouri to start SEC play.

The No. 5 Crimson Tide, off to its best start since 2007 and third-best in program history, can tie or break the school record this week in the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu.

The 2007 team began the season 25-0, which is one win behind the the 2012 national championship team’s 26-0 start. The 2001 team went 27-0 before its first loss and holds the school record.

In the Rainbow Wahine Classic, which starts Wednesday and concludes Saturday, Alabama will face SIUE, Niagara and Hawaii.
