STARKVILLE, Miss. – Sophomore Moka Ito clinched the fourth and final point to give Alabama the 4-2 victory over Mississippi State on Sunday afternoon at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre in Starville, Miss.

After losing the doubles point, the Tide had an answer in singles play with junior Luca Fabian controlling her match to win 6-2, 6-2 win to tie it up at 1-1. Alabama got another victory from junior Ann Selim, who defeated Janina Braun, 6-2, 6-4.

With the match knotted at 2-2, senior Andie Daniell battled to a 7-6(5), 6-3, win over Magda Adaloglou to give the Crimson Tide the 3-2 advantage. Ito clinched the final point against No. 81 Emma Antonaki in a three-set thriller, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.

The Crimson Tide (13-7, 2-4 SEC) hosts Auburn on Friday.
