OPELIKA — Alabama’s Kenzie Wright carded a round of even par 72 on Sunday and is in a tie for 12th place overall to lead the women’s golf team after 36 holes of play at the Evans Derby Experience. The Crimson Tide is in 14th place with a 614 (301-313) entering the tournament’s final round on Monday.
Wright finished with four birdies and four bogeys on the way to her seventh round of par or better this season. The Frisco, Texas, native has a 36-hole total of 1-over par 145 (73-72).
Jiwon Jeon is in a tie for 25th overall, giving the Crimson Tide two golfers among the top-25 individuals, with a two-day total of 4-over 148 (72-76). Angelica Moresco is in 75th with a 158 (75-83) on the par-72, 6,250-yard Saugahatchee Country Club. Anna Reid (82-82/164) and Mary Mac Trammell (81-84/165) round out the UA golfers in 82nd and 85th place, respectively.
Carolina Caminoli, playing as an individual this weekend, is in a tie for 78th with a 160 (80-80).
The final round will tee off Monday with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. CT.
