BIRMINGHAM – Alabama’s Portious Warren earned Southeastern Conference Field Athlete of the Week recognition after bettering her own school record in the shot put for the second time this season during the Crimson Tide Invitational.
Warren won the shot put with a throw of 57-10.50, which is the second-longest throw in the nation this season and the best in the SEC by more than a foot.
