AUBURN – The Alabama track and field team picked up three wins at Auburn’s War Eagle Invitational and another at the Kansas Relays on Saturday, with all four coming in the field events.
Shelby McEwen won the high jump at Auburn, his second win of the season, with a jump of 7-04.25. Kiara Williams won the long jump with a leap of 20-07.75 in Auburn. Stacey Destin and Abigail Kwarteng posted the top clearances of the day in the high jump with both going 5-10.5.
At the Kansas Relays, Kord Ferguson dominated the shot put, winning the event with a throw of 63-6.25 a day after posting the meet’s top collegiate throw in the discus.
