ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The No. 25 Alabama men’s golf team shot a three-day total of 882 (292-278-312) at the 2019 Southeastern Conference Men’s Golf Championships on Friday afternoon, finishing the three-day, 54-hole event in 14th overall. The Crimson Tide will now turn its attention to NCAA Regionals, which will be announced live on the Golf Channel on May 1.
Sophomore Wilson Furr led Alabama as he tied for 41st with a 54-hole total of 219 (69-72-78) on the par 70, 7,005-yard Sea Island Golf Club Seaside Course. Freshman Frankie Capan III was a stroke back of Furr, closing championship play with a 220 (77-67-76) to place 46th overall.
