Alabama swimming and diving continues to reap the benefits of a strong season in the pool and the classroom. The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) announced its Scholar All-America teams Tuesday, revealing that Alabama is the only program to have both its men’s and women’s squads figure in the top-10 nationally by team grade point average.

The CSCAA Scholar All-America Team recognizes squads that achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the spring semester.

Alabama finished ninth among NCAA Division I women’s teams with a 3.68 team GPA in the spring and seventh among the men’s squads with a 3.53. Both the men and women both ranked first in the Southeastern Conference by team GPA and were the only SEC women’s squad ranked in the top-15 nationally.
