Alabama track and field head coach Dan Waters announced the addition of Mark’Quis Frazier to the Crimson Tide’s coaching staff Tuesday. Frazier, a three-time USTFCCA and NJCAA National and Regional Assistant Coach of the Year, will work with Alabama’s sprint group.

Frazier joins the Tide after two seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Barton Community College, helping lead the Cougars to two NJCAA team titles and four runner-up finishes. During his coaching stint at Barton, the Cougars produced 19 national champions. Prior to Barton, Frazier coached at Iowa Central Community College during the 2017 season, helping lead them to an NJCAA team title.
