Alabama rowing’s 2019-20 season starts in Oklahoma City, Okla., Oct. 5-6, with the Head of the Oklahoma. The fall season will wrap up at the Head of the Hooch, Nov. 2-3, in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Alabama will host Eastern Michigan and Southern Methodist University on Feb. 29 to begin its spring season before traveling to Oak Ridge, Tenn. for the Cardinal Invitational, March 14-15.

The Tide hosts Tennessee on March 21 before traveling to Sarasota, Fla. (April 3-4), Clemson, S.C. (April 18-19), and Austin, Texas (April 25). Alabama returns to Austin on May 17, for the Big 12 Conference Championships.

Alabama took second place in the Big 12s in 2019 – the best finish in program history. The Tide was one of only two schools to medal in every race, winning two silver medals (Third Varsity 4+, Third Varsity 8+, First Varsity 4+) and three bronze medals (Second Varsity 4+, Second Varsity 8+, First Varsity 8+).

Head coach Glenn Putyrae enters his second year at Alabama and was named 2019 Big 12 Coach of the Year.
