PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The Alabama women’s golf team finished with its best round of the weekend and finished tied for third with a team total of 914 (305-307-302) at the Florida State Match-Up on Sunday.
The Crimson Tide secured its fifth straight top-four finish this season. The team ranked second in the 10-team field with 32 birdies on the difficult par-72, 6,290-yard Nicklaus Course.
The 13th-ranked LSU Tigers claimed the team title after carding a final round score of 6-over par 294 on Sunday to finish play with a 22-over par 886, 14 shots better than tournament host No. 24 Florida State (307-296-297/900). No. 40 Clemson (304-310-300/914) finished third along with Alabama.
