Alabama baseball’s first contest of the Fall World Series resulted in a 2-2 tie on Tuesday afternoon at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The day was the first of three in the Crimson Tide’s extended game to close out the fall.

Brett Auerbach scored a run on a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly from freshman Tyler Ras gave the Crimson team a 2-0 advantage in the fifth inning.

The Gray squad answered in the bottom of the fifth with an RBI single from Keith Holcombe. A Kolby Robinson groundout scored another run for the 2-2 score.

Alabama will continue its Fall World Series on Wednesday and conclude the event Friday.
