Alabama volleyball is one of 164 Division I teams to win the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the 2017-18 season, it was announced Monday.
To qualify, a team must maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative team GPA. Alabama is one of seven SEC teams to earn the award.
Last season, 16 members of the Crimson Tide earned SEC Academic Honor Roll accolades, including CoSIDA Academic All-American Leah Lawrence.
