SANTA CLARA, California — The Alabama and Clemson football teams will meet in the 2019 College Football Playoff title game on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019. 

The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. CT. 

No. 1-ranked Alabama enters the game 14-0 after a 45-34 win against Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. 

No. 2-ranked Clemson is 14-0 coming off a 30-3 win against Notre Dame during the Cotton Bowl.
