TALLAHASSEE, Florida — After a memorable four-year career in Madison, former Wisconsin quarterback Alex Hornibrook transferred to Florida State in March.

Boasting a career record of 26-6 with the Badgers, Hornibrook adds a veteran presence alongside sophomore James Blackman.

Jake Hornibrook is a freshman offensive lineman for Stanford.

He enters his first year with the Cardinal as a versatile lineman; Rivals ranked him as the country's 16th-best guard in his recruiting class, and ESPN had him as the 83rd-best guard.

Meanwhile, Alex Hornibrook's sister Mackenzie was a captain of the Penn State swimming and diving team for the 2016-17 season.

Alex Hornibrook's father, Jeff, was an offensive lineman for Temple. Dawn Hornibrook, his mother, played basketball at Gettysburg College.

Ben Davis, Hornibrook's uncle, was the No. 2 overall selection in the 1995 MLB Draft. Davis enjoyed an eight-year MLB career, playing for the San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, and Chicago White Sox. He finished with a career batting average of .237.

Davis isn't the only athlete in the family, though. Megan Davis (Ben Davis' wife) played both soccer and lacrosse at Rutgers

John Hornibrook, Alex Hornibrook's great uncle, played quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes in 1970 and 1971.

Hornibrook has the best winning percentage at Wisconsin

Hornibrook's 26-6 career record in a Badger uniform translates into a .813 winning percentage.  

The three-year starter finished with 47 touchdowns, which ties for third all-time in Wisconsin football history. He completed 60.5 percent of his throws for 5,438 yards, ending his time in Madison with a 138.1 passer efficiency rating.

His best season came in 2017. That year, Hornibrook threw for 2,644 yards and 25 touchdowns.

In 2018, Hornibrook played in just nine games, missing time with injury. He finished with 1,532 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.  

Hornibrook was the 2017 Orange Bowl MVP

In the final game of his stellar junior season, Hornibrook capped the year with a win in the 2017 Orange Bowl.

No. 6 Wisconsin took down No. 11 Miami 34-24 thanks to Hornibrook's efforts in the passing game. The quarterback threw for 258 yards and four touchdowns en route to claiming a 170.2 passer efficiency rating.

Hornibrook was named the 2017 Orange Bowl MVP.

Hornibrook sang Zac Brown Band

In this video, Hornibrook sings "Chicken Fried" by Zac Brown Band at the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, Wisconsin.

Hornibrook performed during the Buckinghams: The Student-Athlete Annual Showcase of Excellence.

Not too bad for a guy whose main job is to throw the football.
