TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — The Tennessee Vols football team made the trip to Alabama for a Southeastern Conference contest on Saturday, Oct. 19. 

Alabama defeated Tennessee 35-13.  

Alabama, ranked No. 1 in the Amway Coaches Poll, improved to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the SEC. Tennessee moved to 2-5 overall and 1-3 in the SEC.

Here are highlights from the game. 

Trevon Diggs 100-yard fumble return

Alabama defensive back Trevon Diggs recovered a fumble in the end zone and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown to put the Crimson Tide up 35-13 with 7:21 left in the fourth quarter.

Slade Bolden to Miller Forristall touchdown

Alabama receiver Slade Bolden threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Miller Forristall to put the Crimson Tide up 28-13 with 4:55 left in the third quarter.

Tua Tagovailoa injury

Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa left the game with 6:03 left in the second quarter after suffering an apparent ankle injury

Najee Harris touchdown No. 2

Alabama running back Najee Harris scored his second touchdown of the game on a 1-yard run with 9:02 left in the second quarter to put Alabama up 21-10.

Jared Mayden interception

Alabama defensive back Jared Mayden picked off a pass from Tennessee quarterback Brian Maurer. Mayden made the interception at the Tennessee 42-yard line and returned it 4 yards to the Tennessee 38-yard line with 10:06 left in the first quarter.

Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium unveiled new LED lights during Saturday's game against Tennessee, with a particular configuration to celebrate Najee Harris' touchdown.

Alabama running back Najee Harris powered into the end zone to put the Crimson Tide up 7-0 with 11:22 left in the first quarter.
