See Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl appear on 2020 NBA Draft from side of a highway
The Cleveland Cavaliers selected Isaac Okoro as the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
After Okoro was selected, Auburn men's basketball head coach Bruce Pearl made an appearance on the draft to talk about his former player.
He did the appearance from an unusual place — the side of a highway.
Auburn basketball assistant coach and Pearl's son, Steven Pearl, confirmed the obscure location. "Sources (me) can confirm, this was done on the side of the highway," Steven Pearl said in a tweet.
Steven Pearl was responding to a tweet by ESPN's Pablo S. Torre that said, "Is Bruce Pearl stranded on a highway."
Bruce Pearl said he did the ESPN interview from the parking lot of a grocery story outside LaGrange, Georgia, according to CBS Sports.
Torre and Steven Pearl weren't the only ones to comment on Bruce Pearl's appearance.
