Alabama basketball point guard Jahvon Quinerly could be back in the Crimson Tide lineup for Saturday’s 2:30 p.m. game against Arkansas. The sophomore guard has missed three consecutive games due to an unspecified medical condition.

Senior guard Herb Jones remains “day to day” with a finger injury.

”We dodged a bullet with Herb,” Alabama coach Nate Oats said. “Nothing is broken. It’s still pretty swollen but he was at least able to be at practice.

“Jahvon has been able to participate in some of practice. Hopefully, when we check with the trainer, he will be available, but it’s day to day.”

Quinerly was averaging 12.8 points through Alabama’s first 10 games. That included an average of 17 points in Alabama’s first two SEC games.

Senior Jordan Bruner is out indefinitely after a surgical procedure to repair a torn meniscus in his knee.
