Alabama men's basketball adds Baylor to non-conference schedule

Alabama basketball has added yet another opponent that made a deep NCAA Tournament run to its 2021-2022 schedule. 

The Crimson Tide will play host to defending national champion Baylor on Jan. 29, 2022, as part of the Big 12/SEC challenge, the SEC announced Wednesday. 

With the Bears added, Alabama could have three of the final four teams on its schedule this upcoming season. The Crimson Tide is in the process of finalizing a neutral-site series with Gonzaga. Houston is on the schedule as well after a COVID-19 cancellation this past season

Alabama is also set to participate in the ESPN Events Invitational, which is expected to include teams such as Kansas, Iona, Dayton, Miami, Belmont, Drake and North Texas.
