Alabama football lands 2022 offensive lineman Dayne Shor, its sixth commitment in July

Just before the start of a new month, Alabama football added its sixth commitment of July on Saturday. 

Dayne Shor, a 2022 offensive lineman, announced his pledge to the Crimson Tide over the weekend. A three-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite, Shor is the third commit for Alabama in the past week. 

The Crimson Tide also secured commitments from three-star receiver Kobe Prentice on Tuesday and four-star linebacker Shawn Murphy on Sunday. 

In total, Alabama has 14 commitments for the 2022 class. With Shor's commitment, Alabama maintained its No. 3 spot in the 247Sports Composite team rankings behind Ohio State and Penn State for 2022 commits. 

Shor is listed at 6-feet-6, 295 pounds out of King's Ridge Christian School in Alpharetta, Georgia. In addition to Alabama, Shor listed Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Oregon among his final seven.
