Alabama football is back. 

The Alabama Crimson Tide football team is scheduled to travel to Atlanta to face the Miami Hurricanes for its season opener on Saturday, Sept. 4. 

The game was set to start at 2:30 p.m. CT at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, but the Oklahoma-Tulane game is running long. Kickoff was moved to 2:41 p.m. CT. 

Alabama, ranked No. 1 in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll, finished the 2020 season 13-0 overall and defeated Ohio State 52-24 in the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship. 

Miami, ranked No. 16 in the coaches poll, finished the 2020 season 8-3 overall.

Alabama leads the all-time series vs. Miami 14-3.

Game time: 2:41 p.m. CT/3:41 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021

The Tulane-Oklahoma game is running long on ABC. Alabama-Miami will start on ESPNews.

ESPN broadcasters are scheduled to be Sean McDonough (play-by-play), Todd Blackledge (analyst), Todd McShay and Molly McGrath (sideline reporters).
