Some are finding comparisons to both games.

Miami and Alabama kicked off their 2021 college football seasons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday — but at halftime, the defending national champion was up 27-3.

"Are we sure bishop sycamore and Miami aren't the same school?" @joboo43 tweeted as Miami was down 27-0.

Fans on Twitter are comparing the matchup to the infamous Bishop Sycamore, a mysterious Ohio high school football team that was walloped 58-0 by the No. 1 high school in the country, taking social media by storm.

The high school football game was broadcast on ESPN, leading Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine to direct the Ohio Department of Education to conduct an investigation into the school's practices since the school isn't listed in the state for the 2021-22 school year.
