Alabama basketball will play its second game of the opening week with a 7 p.m. CT tipoff Friday at Coleman Coliseum, facing South Dakota State. 

The Crimson Tide (1-0) is ranked No. 13 in the USA Today Sports Ferris Mowers Preseason coaches poll and No. 14 in the AP preseason poll. 

Alabama started the season with a victory over Louisiana Tech while South Dakota State is fresh off a win over Bradley. 

Alabama guard Keon Ellis shined in his first game of the season, scoring 18 points and registering a plus-37 night.
