Alabama gymnastics returned to Coleman Coliseum on Friday to host Missouri and was able to get back in the win column.

The No. 7 Crimson Tide (5-4, 3-3 SEC) took down the No. 9 Tigers (7-4, 2-4 SEC), 197.5-196.775, behind Luisa Blanco's return to the all-around lineup. The junior posted four scores of 9.9 or better on her way to claiming the all-around title after previously being limited due to injury.

Here's what we learned:

Makarri Doggette makes her return

Following a knee sprain sustained two weeks ago in the Power of Pink meet against Georgia, Makarri Doggette's status for the Missouri meet was unknown. She did not compete at all last week against LSU but made her return in a limited capacity on Friday, scoring 9.9 on the bars, her only routine of the meet.

"I continue to trust her," said Alabama coach Dana Duckworth.

Blanco agreed.

"It's amazing. Just seeing her resilience coming back from injury, she's such a strong person," said Blanco.

Alabama takes advantage of Missouri mistakes

Missouri was only able to post one score higher than 9.8 on its first rotation, giving Alabama an early opportunity to take the lead. The Crimson Tide was able to score 9.9 or better twice, with Blanco's 9.925 and Kaylee Quinn scoring a 9.9, while Jordan Paradise added a 9.875 of her own.

Falls remain an issue

In Baton Rouge, Alabama struggled with falls, with gymnasts falling during three different rotations. Falling issues continued on Friday night. Shania Adams fell during her routine on the uneven parallel bars, resulting in a 9.35. Lilly Hudson fell on the balance beam one rotation later, scoring 9.225. Finally, Cameron Machado fell on floor exercise, but kept it inbounds to prevent any further deductions. Fortunately for the Crimson Tide, all three scores were dropped.
