Alabama gymnastics travels to Seattle for NCAA regional; Auburn regional has four SEC teams

Following its second-place finish at the SEC Championships, Alabama gymnastics has claimed the fifth seed in the NCAA gymnastics bracket, which was revealed on Tuesday. The Crimson Tide will be heading to Seattle for the Washington regional.

Alabama will compete against No. 12 seed Michigan State, BYU, and regional host Washington in the first session. Fourth-seeded Utah, 13th-seeded Oregon State, and Illinois are in the second session, as well as the winner of the play-in meet between Stanford and San Jose State.

Auburn will host its own region as the No. 7 seed. No. 10 Kentucky, Georgia and Southern Utah will compete with Auburn in one session, while SEC champion Florida claimed the second seed and will face No. 15 Denver, Ohio State, and the winner of the play-in between Iowa State and Western Michigan.

The top two teams from each session advance to the regional final, while the top two from the regional final advance to the national championship in Fort Worth, Texas. Alabama and Auburn will begin regional competition on March 31 and conclude April 2. All regionals will be broadcast on ESPN2.
