The Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team traveled to South Carolina for a Southeastern Conference matchup on Tuesday, Feb. 9.

Alabama, ranked No. 11 in the Ferris Mowers Men's Basketball Coaches Poll, improved to 16-5 overall and 11-1 in the SEC. The South Carolina Gamecocks went to 5-8 overall and 3-6 in the SEC.

South Carolina guard Justin Minaya made a layup with two seconds remaining on an assist from Jermaine Couisnard. 

It cut the Alabama lead to 79-78 with two seconds remaining. 

Keon Ellis fast-break dunk

Alabama guard Keon Ellis dunked on the fast break with 13:33 left in the second half to put Alabama up 56-51 vs. South Carolina. 

Justin Minaya flys down lane for dunk

South Carolina Gamecocks forward Justin Minaya came flying down the lane to dunk on an assist by Jermaine Couisnard. Minaya's basket with 18:45 left in the second half cut the Alabama lead to 42-40. 

John Petty Jr. putback dunk 

Alabama guard John Petty Jr. dunked on an offensive rebound after a missed 3-pointer by Jaden Shackelford. It put Alabama up 28-26 vs. South Carolina with 5:43 left in the first half.
