UCLA got possession, but did the basketball go off John Petty Jr.'s shorts? See the video

Officially, it was a lostball turnover by Alabama men's basketball guard John Petty Jr. with 1:54 left in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 game against UCLA. 

UCLA got the ball on the sidelines after it was ruled that the ball went off Petty's shorts and out of bounds.

But did it go off Petty's shorts? See what you think in this video. 

Alabama led 61-60 at the time of the play.

UCLA went on to beat Alabama 88-78 in overtime. UCLA advanced to face Michigan in the Elite Eight on Tuesday.

Petty led Alabama with 16 points and five rebounds in 42 minutes.

No. 2 seed Alabama ended its season 26-7 overall. No. 11-seeded UCLA improved to 21-9 overall.

After Sunday, UCLA leads the all-time series 4-2 vs. Alabama.
