Alabama vs. Florida State softball video highlights, score in Women's College World Series

The Alabama and Florida State softball teams meet in the 2021 Women's College World Series on Sunday, June 6.

FSU defeated Alabama 2-0. 

Florida State improved to 47-11-1 overall. Alabama goes to 52-8 overall.

Alabama and Florida State will face each other again Monday at 5:30 p.m. CT.

FSU's Josie Muffley single, Dani Morgan run

Florida State shortstop Josie Muffley singled to bring home Dani Morgan in the bottom of the sixth inning. It put FSU ahead 2-0 vs. Alabama. 

Dani Morgan gives FSU the lead

A walk to Sydney Sherrill with the bases loaded scored Dani Morgan in the bottom of the fifth inning. The Morgan run put FSU ahead 1-0 vs. Alabama. 

Lexi Kilfoyl strikes out the side in 4th inning

Alabama starting pitcher Lexi Kilfoyl struck out all three batters she faced in the bottom of the fourth inning — Elizabeth Mason, Cassidy Davis and Devyn Flaherty.

Alabama and Florida State softball went through a rain delay of about 2 1/2 hours. After originally starting at 3:22 p.m. CT, a rain delay started at about 3:40 p.m. CT.
