How accurate are Lee Corso's College GameDay predictions for Alabama vs. Georgia football

Lee Corso makes predictions each week on ESPN "College GameDay," and this week, the show is headed to the SEC Championship game between the Alabama and Georgia Bulldogs football teams. 

The show is scheduled to broadcast from the Georgia World Congress Center

ESPN "College GameDay" airs each Saturday morning during the college football season from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. CT on ESPN and ESPNU. At the end of each "College GameDay," Corso makes a headgear pick. 

The SEC Championship game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. CT.

Lee Corso picked Alabama to beat Georgia again on Saturday at the 2021 SEC Championship. 

There have been seven previous times that Lee Corso made a headgear pick for an Alabama vs. Georgia game. All seven times, Corso picked Alabama to win, according to GameDayCole.com

Alabama went 5-2 in those games. Georgia's most recent win vs. Alabama when Corso made it his headgear pick was Sept. 27, 2008.

Corso is 65.79% accurate all-time with his headgear picks, going 250-130. The SEC Championship will be his 381st all-time headgear pick.

He picked Georgia to win nine times, and he picked against Georgia 22 times. 

Corso is 5-4 when he picks Georgia to win, and UGA won the last five times Corso picked the Bulldogs, according to information from ESPN

Corso is 16-6 when he picks against the Georgia Bulldogs.

He picked Alabama to win 34 times, and he picked against Alabama 13 times. 

Corso is 24-10 when he picks Alabama to win. Corso is 5-8 when he picks against Alabama, and he is 3-8 when he picks against Alabama since Nick Saban became the head coach. 

Before joining ESPN, Corso was a head football coach at Louisville, Indiana, and Northern Illinois from 1969-84. He played college football at Florida State.
