Alabama basketball fans react to NCAA Tournament loss to Notre Dame, Cormac Ryan going nuclear

Alabama basketball fell to sharp-shooting Cormac Ryan and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 78-64 in the first round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament on Friday in San Diego.

The Crimson Tide (19-14) ended their season on a four-game losing streak, which featured one-and-done appearances in the SEC and NCAA Tournament. Jahvon Quinerly left the game early in the first half with a knee injury. Alabama was led by Keon Ellis with 16 points, and Jaden Shackelford scored 13 points. 

Ryan scored a career-high 29 points and set a new Notre Dame record for most 3-pointers made in an NCAA Tournament game with seven.
