Alabama football has its second four-star class of 2023 offensive tackle commit.

Olaus Alinen, the No. 122 recruit in the nation according to the 247Sports Composite, committed to Alabama over Miami, Georgia, Ohio State and Oregon Friday.

"Let's get to work. Let's win some more championships and keep the dynasty going," Alinen said on CBS Sports HQ. "Roll Tide."

Alinen is a Finland native who moved Connecticut ahead his junior season, according to 247Sports. The Loomis Chaffee School four-star's father, Klaus Alinen, played in NFL Europe.

Alinen, 6-foot-6, 315 pounds, joins Northridge and Tuscaloosa native Wilkin Formby as the first offensive line commits. He is the 14th commit and should move Alabama into the top 10 of the recruiting rankings.

Alinen took official visits to all five finalists in June, and Alabama was the second trip. He is the No. 14 offensive tackle in the country.

Alinen cited the Crimson Tide's history of developing players as part of his reason for choosing the team.

"Alabama's program is the most proven one out there," Alinen said. "It was my dream school when I started following college football."

New Alabama offensive line coach Eric Wolford was the primary recruiter. Nick Saban praised the coach's efforts multiple times at SEC Media Days on Tuesday.

Saban and Alabama landed Georgia legacy running Justice Haynes and Chicago place-kicker Conor Talty earlier in the week.

Alabama has two five-star commits: in-state products Florence cornerback Jahlil Hurley and Thompson defensive back Tony Mitchell.
