Watch as Alabama football dunks Bryce Young in cold pool for his birthday

Being the reigning Heisman Trophy winner didn't get Alabama football quarterback Bryce Young out of the birthday celebration. 

Young was tossed in the cold tubs at the Mal Moore Athletic Facility by teammates to mark his 21st birthday. A number of players are seen bringing Young to the pool in a video posted to Malachi Moore's Instagram account.  

Young tried to resist but was swung into the cold water. 

Young is coming off a season where he passed for 4,872 yards and 47 touchdowns while leading Alabama to the national championship game. Young won a slew of awards in addition to the Heisman, including the Davey O'Brien and Manning awards.

Alabama opens its season by hosting Utah State on Sept. 3 (6:30 p.m. CT, SEC Network).
