Alabama baseball score vs. Florida: Live updates from opening SEC series

Alabama baseball starts SEC play on Thursday with a three-game series against Florida in Gainesville. Thursday's game will be shown on SEC Network, while games on Friday and Saturday will be streamed on SEC Network+.

Thursday's first pitch is at 6 p.m., Friday's is at 5:30 p.m., and Saturday's is 3 p.m.

The Crimson Tide enters the series at 16-2, following a 4-0 road win over South Alabama on Tuesday. Alabama lost its final non-conference series against Columbia, dropping the Friday game, 10-7, before splitting a Saturday doubleheader. The Crimson Tide won the front end, 6-2, but lost the back end, 15-3.

The Gators (16-3) have won seven straight, including a 7-2 victory over North Florida on Tuesday. Florida also swept Siena in its final non-conference series last weekend. The Gators took the Friday game, 3-2, then closed the series with consecutive mercy rule victories, including an 11-0, seven-inning win on Saturday, and a 12-2, seven-inning win on Sunday.
