The SEC honored Alabama seniors Jasmine Walker and Jordan Lewis on its women’s basketball All-SEC teams Tuesday.

Walker was named to the All-SEC first team, becoming the first Alabama player to be named to the first team since 2011.

She is averaging 20 points and 9.9 rebounds per game and is the only player in the conference to rank in the top five scorers and rebounders.

Walker is also a finalist for the Katrina McClain Award and was named to the Naismith Trophy Women’s Midseason Team.

Lewis was named to the All-SEC second team and became the fifth player in school history to make the SEC All-Freshman team (2017) and an All-SEC team in a career.

She is averaging 16.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists.

Together, Walker and Lewis become the first Alabama duo to be named to the All-SEC teams since 1998, when the Crimson Tide had three players receive conference honors.

“It’s great to see their hard work paying off,” said coach Kristy Curry. “I’m so happy for them.”
