Alabama basketball had four players who received recognition from the SEC, as selected by coaches, the league announced Tuesday ahead of the SEC Tournament.

Crimson Tide guard Jaden Shackelford was named to the All-SEC second team, Keon Ellis earned a spot on the All-SEC defensive team while JD Davison and Charles Bediako garnered recognition on the All-SEC freshman team.

This marks the third consecutive year in which the Crimson Tide has had four players earn spots on all-conference teams.

Shackelford was also a member of the All-SEC second team last season. He averages 16.6 points per game as Alabama's leading scorer. He was a member of the All-SEC first team voted on ahead of the season, as was Jahvon Quinerly. During the season, Shackelford received SEC player of the week recognition after the win over Gonzaga in December.

Davison was a two-time conference freshman of the week during the season. Bediako is Alabama's leader in blocks and is third in the SEC with an average of 1.6 blocks each night.

No. 6 seed Alabama (19-12) will face the winner of 14-seed Georgia and 11-seed Vanderbilt in the second round of the SEC Tournament at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday in Tampa, Florida.
