Game time, TV announced Alabama basketball's NCAA Tournament opener
Alabama basketball, the No. 1 overall seed in March Madness, found out when it will play in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Crimson Tide will play the winner of Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Southeast Missouri State on Thursday at 1:45 on CBS. The broadcast team will consist of Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery, Grant Hill and Tracy Wolfson. The two will play in the play-in game on Tuesday in Dayton, Ohio at 5:40 p.m. on TruTv.
If Alabama advances, it will play the winner of Maryland and West Virginia.
Alabama basketball earned the No. 1 seed after winning the SEC Tournament championship, sweeping the SEC titles in the process. Alabama is led by Brandon Miller with 19.5 points a game and 8.2 rebounds a game. Miller was the SEC Tournament MVP after scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds in the 82-63 SEC championship game on Sunday in Nashville.
