As one might expect from a college football weekend in which many teams had scheduled – and unscheduled – time off, the Amway Coaches Poll has few changes this week as the entire top 10 remains unchanged.

Alabama remains No. 1, though the Crimson Tide were idle for a second consecutive week when their game at LSU was postponed. Alabama received 57 of 62 No. 1 votes this week.

Alabama running back Najee Harris pushes back Tennessee defensive back Trevon Flowers during the second half at Neyland Stadium.

Notre Dame followed up its huge win against Clemson with a road triumph at Boston College, and easily retains the No. 2 spot with three firsts this week. Ohio State, whose scheduled game at Maryland was canceled, is again No. 3 with a pair of first-place votes. Clemson, in a scheduled open date, remains fourth.

No. 5 Florida and No. 6 Texas A&M are again quite close, separated this week by just two poll points. Cincinnati, BYU, Miami and Indiana continue to round out the top 10.

Wisconsin got a slight boost from its big night at Michigan, climbing to No. 12 ahead of Oregon and Oklahoma State. Northwestern made the biggest move of the week, gaining three positions to No. 20 after improving to 4-0.

North Carolina returns to the poll at No. 24 after a huge rally to overtake Wake Forest. No. 25 Louisiana-Lafayette is also back in. SMU and Army drop out.
