Jaylen Waddle helps Alabama football win vs. Ohio State in CFB Playoff Championship


Alabama football wide receiver Jaylen Waddle entered Monday night's game vs. Ohio State in the first quarter of the College Football Playoff Championship.
He came into the game with 10:25 left in the first quarter with Alabama facing third-and 4, and Waddle caught a pass for a first down on the play.
Waddle hobbled off the field favoring his right leg after the catch.
It was Waddle's only catch in the first half.
ESPN showed Waddle limping to the sideline after playing in the third quarter.
Waddle finished with three catches for 34 yards.
Waddle has not played since suffering a right ankle injury during the opening kickoff vs. Tennessee on Oct. 24. He's missed seven games since suffering the injury.
Through his first five games of the 2020 season, Waddle caught 25 passes for 557 yards and four touchdowns.
Alabama defeated Ohio State 52-24.
Alabama improved to 13-0 overall. Ohio State finished 7-1 overall.
After Monday, Alabama leads the all-time series 4-1 against Ohio State.
